Terms of Service

1. Overview
Dev Doctor ("the App") is a free utility app for Android and web. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights. By using the App you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect or store personally identifiable information on our own servers.
The following data is collected automatically by third-party SDKs integrated into the App:
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used) and basic device information (OS version, device model, country). No names, emails, or identifiers that can be linked back to you personally.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports including stack traces, device state at the time of the crash, and anonymous device identifiers. Crash data is used solely to fix bugs.
- Google AdMob — the Android app may display banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and general location to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
3. How We Use Information
Data collected via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics is used exclusively to:
- Understand which features are most useful
- Identify and fix crashes and bugs
- Improve overall app quality
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party except as described in Section 4.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AdSense (web only) — https://policies.google.com/privacy
5. Data Retention
Firebase retains analytics and crash data for a limited period by default, after which it expires automatically. Because this data is anonymized and not linked to any identifier we can trace back to you, we generally cannot locate data belonging to a specific individual. If you contact us with a request, we will delete any data we are reasonably able to identify. You can also stop all further collection at any time by uninstalling the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete any such data we are reasonably able to identify.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. As the data we collect is processed by third-party providers and is not linked to a personal identifier, requests are best directed to those providers using the instructions in their privacy policies (see Section 4). You may also contact us and we will assist where we reasonably can.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we may provide an additional in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
